Alex Santiago charged with Murder after vicious stabbing to death

A 44-year-old man, Alex Santiago, was charged with stabbing a woman to death in Brooklyn after the woman, who is allegedly his girlfriend, was found dead in his apartment on April 6th. According to police, Santiago was found outside his apartment with a stab wound on his neck, after supposedly stabbing himself after killing the victim, Tara Beardsall.

According to a New York Post report, the couple had allegedly gotten into a fight when the man stabbed Beardsall and then stabbed himself. The Post also reported that the couple had a history of domestic violence.
