Jeffrey S. Sunshine: Part Rules

Part 5G has adopted the Uniform Matrimonial Rules, Supreme Court, Kings County. The motion calendar will be called at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at 360 Adams Street, Room 365. Preliminary conferences that do not have pending motions, compliance conferences and pre-trial conferences will be held on Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Preliminary conferences that have an accompanying motion will be held on Thurday between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Applications to consolidate existing Family Court matters must contain a copy of the Family Court petition and any orders. Application for ex parte orders of protection require the appearance of the client. Ex parte orders of protections are heard immediately. Counsel are reminded to always bring their clients to Court unless previously excused.
