Eric I. Prus: Part Rules

Part 5A has adopted the Kings County Uniform Matrimonial Rules. Motion and Conference calendars will be called promptly at 9:30 a.m. All submitted motions shall be made returnable only for Tuesdays or Wednesdays, unless otherwise directed by the Court. All parties must be present for every appearance unless excused by the Court. Requests for adjournments must be made by conference call to the Clerk of the Part; if granted, stipulations consenting to the date agreed upon must be subsequently faxed to Chambers. Applications to consolidate existing Family Court matters must contain a copy of the Family Court petition and any existing orders.
